It’s all about the customer (and her 6,000 friends!)

It might be somewhat of an old quote, but with the growth of social networks and the like, it’s truer than ever. Amazon’s Jeff Bezos warns: “If you make customers unhappy in the physical world, they might each tell 6 friends. If you make customers unhappy on the internet, they can each tell 6,000 friends.”

With an US$8 billion net worth, Jeff no doubt understands - and you should too - that the reverse is also true: “If you make customers really happy on the internet, they will tell all their friends.”

    Very true, word of mouth can really get a business going and when a customer is happy they will recommend you to everyone they social network with.
