Smartphone evolution in Australia

Google surveyed over 30,000 people to discover the impact of smartphones on consumers in 30 countries. Here is some of what they discovered about Australia:
Key findings:
- 37% of Australians are smartphone users
- Predicted to rise to 50% by 2012
- 98% use their smartphones at home (more than anywhere else)
- 26% have purchased something on their smartphone
- 50% browse the web every day on their smartphone
